has been Organizing National Telecom Awards since the year 2007.
CMAI Association of India is a National Apex Trade Promotion
Organization recognized by the Government to represent the ICTE Sector

National Telecom Awards were presented in the year 2007 by Dr. Shakeel
Ahmed, the then Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications & IT
followed by Thiru A Raja, the then Hon’ble Union Minister for
Communications and IT in 2008. The 2009 awards were presented by Shri
Gurudas Kamat, Hon’ble Minister of State for Communications IT. The
National Telecom Awards 2010 were presented by Shri Kariya Munda, Dy
Speaker Lok Sabha, Shri Mukul Sangma, Chief Minister of Meghalaya,
Shri Vincent Pala, Minister of State for Water Resources, Dr. J S
Sarma, Chairman T R A I, Shri P J Thomas, the then Secretary Telecom
and Chairman Telecom Commission.
The 2011 National Telecom Awards would be the 5th in its series. Shri
K Rehman Khan, Hon’ble Dy Chairman Rajya Sabha has kindly consented to
give away select awards. Other who would be present to give away the
awards include Mr. Kapil Sibal, Hon’ble Union Minister for
Communications and IT, Mr. Gurudas Kamat, Hon’ble Minister of State
for Communications & IT, Mr. Sugato Ray, Hon’ble Minister of State for
Rural Development, Mr. Vincent Pala, Hon’ble Minister of State for
Water Resources, Over 1800 delegates from across the world are
attending this event at the largest venue in New Delhi – the Sirifort
Auditorium. The event is being done in association with Star News.
