Curtis, PhD, PE, Executive Vice President and Director of Strategic Development, has been selected for membership to the University of Connecticut School of Engineering Academy of Distinguished Engineers.

Membership in the University’s Academy is reserved for alumni who have consistently demonstrated consummate professional achievements and success throughout their careers and have advanced the quality and reputation of the School of Engineering. This is an honor accorded only to a select few.

Dr. Curtis will be formally honored during the Academy of Distinguished Engineers Induction Dinner to be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Alumni Center on the UConn campus. Dr. Curtis will participate in a panel discussion during the afternoon to School of Engineering faculty and University graduate and undergraduate students.

As Executive Vice President and Director of Strategic Development, Dr. Curtis utilizes his entrepreneurial nature and 35 years of experience to help Fuss & O’Neill expand into new service areas such as alternative energy and carbon management. Prior to strategic development, Mike led business planning in the Facilities and Environmental Systems Division.
