Mr. Lynn Haney is an artist and former art educator with a special fondness for Christmas and vivid memories of childhood Christmases. Then, a number of years ago, Mr. Haney spotted an antique German papier mache' candy container at an antique show. This Santa offered a source of inspiration in spite of its being in poor condition and demanding a healthy price. Passing on the purchase, the piece became the focus of Mr. Haney creating his own art that still had the same charm and interest of the antique find. In 1987 the Lynn Haney Collection officially began. Today Mr. Haney’s creations are part of Christmas celebrations around the world and making new memories for celebrants.
