"Country Strong": a must see movie for country music fans.
Online PR News – 11-April-2011 –The Blu-ray of country drama movie "Country Strong" will be released on April 12, 2011. It is about a country singer Kelly Canter, she tells us that love and fame can't live in the same place with her life. The storyline of this film is below.
Kelly (Gwyneth Paltrow) is a fallen and emotionally unstable country star, who is checked out of rehab a month early by her husband James (McGraw). As Kelly's manager, James plans a three-city tour for her comeback to revive her career. And she agrees on the condition that Beau (Garrett Hedlund), a rising young singer-songwriter should be her opener. But James wants Chiles (Meester), a beauty queen who has the potential to be a rising singer, to do the opening act. However, after seeing Bear's performance, James is impressed and suggests to Beau that he and the beauty queen could make quite the duo. Beau disagrees, for he dislikes Chiles thinking that she is just a Barbie, not a real Country artist, but he still agrees to go on the tour. During the tour, when Beau finishes his relationship with Kelly and spends much time with Chiles, he finds out Chiles is not the same as other girls and falls in love with her. Kelly turns her shows from disaster at first to a big success at last. When James and Kelly's agent begin to plan for her future, Kelly commits suicide in her dressing room with a letter left to Beau, echoing his earlier words that "love and fame can't live in the same place", and suggests Beau to choose love. Beau takes her advice and move to California with Chiles together, where they wrote and sing with a happy life.
