Since October 2010, the CNC has implemented, a new monthly barometer for the supply of catch-up television (TVR).
Online PR News – 28-April-2011 –The study of catch-up TV offering, conducted by TV-replay.fr, offers free terrestrial channels available on catch-up TV on the internet in number and volume of video lag.
JT and entertainment make up the most of the offers
The offer of programs for all radio channels available for free Internet TV catch-up consists in an average of over 16 000 videos per month, in the fourth trimester of 2010, meaning that the monthly scheduled average volume consists in almost 5 900 hours.
The offer is on the continue rinse since the founding of the barometer. It counts on over 15 000 video clips in October 2010, over 16 000 videos in November 2010 and over 17 000 videos in December 2010.
Television news ( 50.0% of videos per month in average in the last trimester of 2010) and the emission flow up (42.4 %) make up the most of the offer. The animation, the documentary, the fiction and the film is 7,5 % of the videos submitted by TVR in free terrestrial channels on the Internet. The offer consists of 544 fictions (382 hours), 416 cartoons (115 hours), 256 documentaries (206 hours) and 9 films (12 hours) in average per month in the last trimester of 2010.
TF1 and France 3 propose the largest offers
TF1 and France 3 propose the bigest offers of catch-up TV over the Internet. 37.6% of videos available on TVR are offered by TF1 and France 3 provides for you an average of 23.7% of the monthly offer in the last trimester of 2010. The TV news are approximately 66,5% and 74,2% if their offer of catch-up TV over the Internet. Gulli has to offer the most developed entertainment programs (average 32,8% of total monthly supply of animation in the last trimester of 2010) before TF1(21,7%) and France 5 (16.8%). Arte offers the richest offer of documentaries (65,3% of the total supply of documentaries) before France 5 (21.7%). M6 offers the most important supply of fiction (24.9% of the total supply of fiction) before TF1 (19.6%) and France 2 (12.9%).
