Internet Retailer's definitive ranking and analysis of America's 500 largest online retailers is based on annual 2010 Internet sales, as researched by Internet Retailer and confirmed by retailers. This report includes company financial, operational and performance data, as well as vendors in key categories. The company placed 492 in the list.
“Web sales for Summit Sports grew just over 35% in 2010 for Summit Sports and that growth rate is a testament to their staying power as an online retailer and in their core merchandising category,” says Mark Brohan, vice president of research at Internet Retailer and editor of the Top 500 Guide.

Summit Sports e-commerce site, Skis.com, was named to the publications 2009 Hot 100, which highlights innovative websites taking a leadership role in the development of e-commerce by reaching beyond the primary website to engage and inform web shoppers.
