The Princess Royal Burnley Fancy Dress Pub Crawl For Cancer research and Meningitis UK

The success of the fundraiser and the generosity people showed was beyond expectations and the event left people who participated with a feeling of happiness that something had been achieved to help others suffering from this illness.
So positive was the feeling the fancy dress pub crawl had given that people who remembered the last fundraiser wanted to do more. 
With the loss of her auntie Julie Palmer to meningitis Chantelle this year has enlisted the help of her family to help organise another event with the aim to raise money for both Cancer research and Meningitis UK.
"Burnley is a tight knit community and everyone knows everyone under the Culvert" said Chantelle "When the event was organised last year people showed so much support and this year we want to top that and make it a memorable day".
The event will start at 2pm on july 16th 2011 at The Princess Royal and will travel along a proposed route from pub to pub collecting donations off people. Participants will be expected to dress as outrageously as possible and a few prizes to be announced will be given out to the best and worsted outfits. 
Chantelle said "There is no theme and everyone loves an excuse to dress up, why wait for Halloween. This will be a fun filled day and all for good causes2
Businesses are welcomed to donate money or prizes if they so wish early by emailing their pledges to chantelle.palmer@ntlworld.com.
