Online PR News – 09-August-2011 –Xerafy Ltd introduced the Nano XL and Nano XL-iN today, the second in the rugged passive RFID tag manufacturer’s family of high memory UHF RFID-on-and-in-metal (ROM) tags designed for the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, oil and gas and process industries.
The Nano XL, which comes in both a rugged, IP68 cased version and an embeddable iN version, is perfectly suited for the harshest of environments and small enough to enable it to be used in a diverse number of applications such as operating tools and equipment for MRO, valves and maintainable items in process industries, and remote assets in renewable energy. It complements the “bullet proof” technology that can withstand time, temperature, pressure and radiation.
With 8K byte data storage and up to four feet in read distance, the Nano XL can deliver significant value in the following areas: storing key life-cycle history information of an asset, accessing MRO information in remote areas, and simplifying deployment without the need for network integration.
