Bold Earth Teen Adventures Announces Top 75 Bloggers Parents Of Teens Should Read

The world’s leading teen tour operator uncovers the best blogs on the web featuring the topic of teens, parenting and family life.

Online PR News – 08-August-2011 – – Bold Earth Teen Adventures, a leader in teen adventure trips around the world, today announced their first official list of the “Top 75 Bloggers Parents of Teens Should Read.” The list honors deserving bloggers and provides a unique resource for people searching for relatable, fresh content and inspiring, fun lifestyle reads from one parent to another.

Team members at the student travel company searched the web to find bloggers from all types of genres with a distinct point of view as a parent of teenagers or pre-teens. They used specific criteria to award the top 75 blogs, such as interesting content, openness and honesty, posting frequency, comments, tips, look and feel and much more.

As recognition for their achievement, the top 75 bloggers will have the opportunity to get involved in Bold Earth’s inspiring community service projects they participate in during their youth camps and adventures.

“On all of our tours, our teens work with local community service projects to give back,” said Abbott Wallis, President of Bold Earth Teen Adventures. “We want to share our service projects with these great bloggers and their readers by giving them the power to vote for which project our 2011 donation will go to. This will be a fun way to spread the word about these amazing initiatives.”

Community Service projects people will be voting on include the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, a nonprofit organization working to protect and preserve the natural integrity of the 54 mountains in Colorado, Ecuador Niños De La Calle (children of the street), a program that provides counseling and support for under-privileged youth in Ecuador, and the Amazon Conservation Project, an educational project in the Amazon working on rehabilitation and conservation of wild animals.

Followers of these Top 75 blogs must go to the Bold Earth voting page, which the bloggers have access to, and click on the community service project they want Bold Earth's $500 donation to go to. The voting will run through 11:59 p.m. on September 15, 2011.

To thank the bloggers for joining in on this feel-good campaign, one randomly chosen blogger who participates will also win a trip on Bold Earth’s summer programs for students for their son, daughter, family member or friend.
