Utah, United States – Thursday 31st December 2009: Celebrations at the DMBC (http://dmbc.com) office in Utah were not just of the festive type this week, as the number of iPhone apps listed on the iTunes store created using their pioneering software topped 500. DMBC's program, otherwise known as 'My App Builder' http://myappbuilder.com, allows users to create iPhone app products from templates and subsequently sell them online at the iTunes store.

My App Builder was developed in early 2009 as a solution for those with a creative idea for a new iPhone app, but no means or knowledge with which to write the relevant code. DMBC's iPhone software essentially harnesses the power that iPhone app developers have and simplifies it, so anybody can create iPhone app products. Since its launch the software has proven to be a success and there are now over 500 iPhone apps on sale at the iTunes store built using My App Builder.

“Today we find a great number of clients are using their custom built iPhone app to find new customers” says Roger Lichfield, CEO of DMBC. “So not only are people having fun with My App Builder, but they're using it as a 21st century marketing tool as well.”

Since their launch in 2008, DMBC have released two iPhone software packages; the first of which is 'My App Builder', which instructs and guides users who want to create iPhone apps, by providing basic templates that users can customize to their own tastes and requirements. 'Comic Book App' (http://comicbookapp.com) – DMBC's second success – is an iPhone App that allows authors to customize and publish comic books on their handset.

Whether the majority of the iPhone app creations listed at the iTunes Store are company-led or for personal entertainment remains unclear. Yet what remains obvious is that DMBC's iPhone software - My App Builder - is responsible for a large portion of iTunes' listings. Sales of My App Builder are expected to continue rising throughout 2009 and into 2010 as more iPhone app users discover the ability to write applications with no prior expertize.
