Online PR News – 31-August-2011 –Northern Illinois real estate broker Corinne Guest specializes in serving families relocating to Chicago IL suburbs,and has just launched a new website to help relocating buyers navigate the options in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Northern Illinois. Guest, a broker from Barrington IL has life experience with relocation; from the early age of 4 she moved all over the world with her family and since being married has repeated the same with her own family. She is now settled in Northern Illinois and wants others to be able to connect with a Realtor that understands the hurdles, having been through them herself several times.
There is more to relocation that just moving your home but it is a large part of the process and can cause a lot of stress if there is very little understanding on the part of the Realtor, and hence no support. Guest says: “It’s one thing to say you are experienced in relocation but another to have experienced it not once but multiple times. It just gives me a better insight into what my client needs to achieve and it is much more than just moving house. With the poor economy and increased job losses, more people are moving to start new careers, hence relocation and real estate sales are still very active. There are many large corporations that have relocation divisions but Guest recognizes that the smaller companies do not and therefore her goal is to fill that void. She has organized moves for her family with and without company support and says this: “There really was not much difference but the one thing I hated for our supported move from the UK to USA, was having an allocated agent. We had nothing in common, the agent had never moved in her life and just had no grasp of the magnitude of what we needed to do. It was an international move, I had young children and 3 pets, it was the day after Christmas, the disruption was palpable. She was robotic and unfriendly, something I would not wish on anyone.”
The web site at Relocation House Hunters is young and is being populated with plenty of new information, visitors can already search for homes in the entire Chicagoland area including the city. Guest does not typically serve the city of Chicago, she is the Chicago suburban expert but says she can be persuaded depending on the client’s needs and her schedule. There is also a blog that will address many subjects to help relocation families understand how it all works in Illinois because as Guest says, it’s different to other states and countries and she wants to educate them so they can make informed and better decisions.
