Specialist subjects speakers are set to address will cover everything from microscopic imaging to ultra structural pathology.

The subject matter for the congress will be split into three main topics, these being materials science, biological sciences and microscopy techniques. Some of the subtopics to come under review will also look at microscopy and nanotechnology, criminology and the industrial applications of the field.

As the technology evolves certain manufacturers are due to be presenting on the innovations being made to microscopes and how these changes can aid practitioners with their work. Various techniques will also be described in detail with changes to 3D, X-Ray and cryoelectron microscopy being explained.

At the end of the event an awards ceremony will be held which will recognize the best poster contributions from attendees as well as the best micrograph and a special award for the event’s best researcher.
