On Thursday, Oct. 6 Performance Auto Group selected the winner of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler as part of a raffle to raise funds for the American Lung Association.
Jayne Dunn won a new Jeep Wrangler on Thursday, Oct. 6. She was joined by her husband (left) and presented the Jeep by Angie Quinn (right) of Performance Auto Group.
Online PR News – 14-October-2011 –Performance Auto sponsored the Corporate Cup Run on September 18th where over 1,100 raffle tickets were sold to benefit the American Lung Association. Every ticket purchased would be entered in a drawing to win a 2011 Jeep Wrangler, donated by Performance Auto Group.
Thursday, Oct. 6 at the Scott Conference Center on the University of Nebraska-Omaha’s campus, a winner was chosen during the Corporate Cup Awards luncheon. The lucky winner was Jayne Dunn of Omaha. Angie Quinn, co-owner of Performance, was there to officially present Dunn with the new vehicle.
There were five other finalists present at the luncheon - Jackie Genovesi, Deb Hickman, Gay Shaake, Brittani Esssler and Mark Kruger. After each finalist blindly selected a key out of an envelope, the contestants headed outside where only one key would start the Jeep. Dunn volunteered to go first, and to everyone’s surprise, the Jeep engine started.
Though a recent back surgery prevents her from driving, Dunn is sure her husband, children and grandchildren will make good use of the vehicle. At the awards ceremony, numerous corporate teams who ran in the race were honored with trophies, while other local sponsors were showcased.
The Corporate Cup had over 12,000 participants this year, including 250 corporate teams, and raised over $400,000 for the American Lung Association. Performance Auto Group looks forward to sponsoring the 2012 Corporate Cup, along with many other local community events in the coming year.
