Demand for Kindle Fire keeps on rising. Though it's a good news for Amazon, consumers are worried if there is any left for them to purchase.
Amazon Kindle
Online PR News – 18-October-2011 –An estimated 215 000 Kindle Fire preorders has already been made. That's according to one market research firm following the unit's sale progress. However, despite the positive development, many are concerned if Amazon can meet the demand for their new tablet.
Sold at $199, experts believe that the low price tag of Kindle Fire is the major fuel to its high demand. Given that it offers fine features at half the price of iPad, it's no wonder that it has already become huge in the technology world even before the start of its shipping on November 15.
In the last six days, it is said that 20 000 Kindle Fire are being sold everyday. If this selling pace continues, kindle vs nook days will be over and finally, apple will have a serious competitor.
Unless B&N upgrades their electronic book reader in a real good way, the battle for tablet supremacy will be between Apple and Amazon. Until then, both will have no kindle vs nook vs iPad to worry about.

“Last September 28, Kindle Fire was launched at $199. No unit will be shipped though until November 15. Despite that, preorders for the device are being accepted. And according to the data gathered, it's going pretty good for the new Amazon Kindle tablet.”
“One market research firm said that just on the first day of Kindle Fire's release, 95 000 units had already been sold. The following six days, the device's selling rate was at 20 000 units per day. If this continues, it's likely that the android-based tablet will beat iPad and iPad 2 launchings. Surely, that will also end the battle between kindle vs nook color.”
“The ballooning of Kindle Fire's preorders though is also raising some concerns. Many are asking, will Amazon be able to meet the high demand for the product?”

“Amazon could be on track to ship as many as 5 million Kindle Fire tablets in the fourth quarter, according to an analyst who tracks the market.”
"Checks indicate that they could ship upwards of 5 million units in the December quarter [fourth quarter], which is just shy of half of Apple's volume," said Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw in a phone interview Thursday. That's an increase from Kumar's previous forecast of up to four million in the same quarter.”
“Why the hike in the forecast? "Because they have received record preorders," he said, echoing revised forecasts from other analysts.”
"It's the first time a competitor has emerged to challenge Apple and that's literally from a standing start," he added. Apple is shipping about 12 million iPad 2 tablets a quarter, according to Kumar.”

The already huge number of Kindle Fire preorder is getting bigger. And although that is a good thing for Amazon, it is alarming for those who are yet to order the device for themselves. They worry that with the extremely high demand, there's nothing left for them to purchase.
Between kindle vs nook prices , the former is cheaper. And because the android-based electronic book reader is now better in almost all aspects than B&N's and that it is sold at half the price of iPad, demand for it is leaping high.
But then again, can Amazon supply the ballooning order for Kindle Fire?
