Owlet Pictures is proud to announce their short form horror comedy, Summer of the Zombies, has been accepted into the 10th LA Comedy Fest running November 10 - 20 at ACME Comedy Theatre.

Ashleigh Nichols said, "What better place for a zomedy than LA Comedy Fest? I am very excited to be a part of it!" Her husband, Eddie Beasley, agreed and added, "We're very excited to represent the humor in the undead at LA Comedy Fest."
A freshly turned zombie struggles to navigate the land of the undead, Summer of the Zombies is a dark, horror comedy (a ZOMEDY if you will) that tells an original story through the eyes of its zombie main character. The film is unique in its limited dialogue and dependence upon visual storytelling. Summer of the Zombies was written, directed, and produced by the husband and wife team of Eddie Beasley and Ashleigh Nichols and was the Best Shorter Film Winner at the Columbia Gorge International Film Festival and an Official Selection at Hollywood Fringe Festival, California International Shorts Festival, Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival and Shriekfest.
The LA Comedy Fest (www.lacomedyfest.com) is the largest comedy festival in the United States and features film, live comedy acts and a screenplay competition.
