High school students nationwide are invited to participate in Toyota’s Teen Driver Video Challenge. Teen’s can make a unique video encouraging safe driving and possibly win $20,000 dollars. Sarasota area dealer Germain Toyota promotes safe driving techniques for all drivers.
Online PR News – 12-November-2011 –In the fight to keep young drivers safe, Toyota and Discovery Education have teamed up to create a unique contest. Sarasota teens are invited to participate in a nation-wide competition to create an impactful video which encourages safe driving among their peers. Germain Toyota strongly encourages teen drivers to always be safe when on the roads.
This particular video challenge is only a small sample of the great partnership between Toyota and Discovery Education. Toyota Teen Driver, which is a joint online imitative from the two parties, provides great tools to educate new drivers on avoiding distraction.
The Grand prize winner of the competition will receive $20,000 cash while each of the other nine finalists will win $1,500 in cash. Creative two-minute videos can be submitted on the Toyota Teen Driver web portal until February 16th, 2012.
“Toyota is dedicated to building awareness among teens about the dangers of distracted driving and encouraging people of all ages to adopt safe driving habits,” said group vice president of philanthropy for Toyota Motor North America, Patricia Salas Pineda. “We’re excited to launch the new Toyota Teen Driver Video Challenge and empower young people be to advocates for responsible driving within their own peer groups and schools.”
