Police Records Releases D-R-U-N-K Ghetto EP: Porn Techno That Has To Be French!

Techno electro music lovers will be keen to get their hands on the debut controversial D-R-U-N-K (FR) EP “Ghetto”, released this week on Police Records, that has created its own genre “porn techno”!

Online PR News – 05-July-2012 –D-R-U-N-K is the new techno electro DJ/production project of the rebellious French contemporary sound innovator, Oly Grasset. He is widely known in the music industry as the mastermind behind the duo MOTOR. His solo “noir modern” Ghetto EP is catchy, dance floor ready and trippy. Track titles such as “SEXVOX” (free download) “Hooker” and "5am" add to the porn techno reference of this 6-track monster package.

“Ghetto” has received early support from ground breaking European artists of the genre such as Fukkk Offf, Modek, T.Raumschmiere and DJ Mr.Jones; guaranteeing D-R-U-N-K’s original fresh tracks will be spinning in the top underground techno clubs worldwide. With the recent world music press interest in the new French dance music producers like Gesaffelstein and Brodinski, seems D-R-U-N-K is in the right place at the right time…

This new D-R-U-N-K release is an echo to anti-conventional music, a hymn to techno’s most abyssal dimension. Oly Grasset, commander of the Ghetto.

Recent Ghetto reaction:
"MASSIVE! TECHNO FOR INDUSTRIAL HALLS
MONSTROUS!
Dancefloor Killer !!!
Very very wild sound!
SO HEAVY!
Now that's properly demented electronic music.
Sounds like an insane analog jam
wild thing ! love the raw beat of HOOKER
"HOOKER" is a big tuff ass beast!!!!
One word: Epic.
Dirty beats, intense synths. It's just, simply put, some great techno.
D-R-U-N-K delivers amazing class and allround quality in this release."

Since starting D-R-U-N-K (FR) late 2011, the talented French producer has remixed and collaborated with The Micronauts, Marseille, Super Super, Eskimo Twins, Volatile, Monsters Of Rave, DoctR and Mekon, with more releases and remixes scheduled for this year.

Meanwhile, the recent MOTOR (CLR/Novamute/Dim Mak/Shitkatapult) album "Man Made Machine” has grabbed a lot of attention from the music industry. The reaction to the first single that features vocals from Martin Gore of Depeche Mode, has created a huge buzz among both Motor and Depeche Mode fans and the international music press. The remixes that include Chris Liebing, Radio Slave & Luke Slater (using his legendary Planetary Assault Systems moniker) have found themselves high in both the Techno and Tech House charts.

Recently blogged on FrenchTouch "This new D-R-U-N-K release is an echo to anti-conventional music, a hymn to techno’s most abyssal dimension. Oly Grasset, commander of the Ghetto." Looks like there is a bright future ahead for this D-R-U-N-K sexy Frenchman!

Ghetto is out now worldwide on Police Records & available from Beatport, iTunes and Amazon. SEXVOX is a free exclusive download.
