KOOLSKOOL, India's leading online retailer for children of school going age takes a clear step towards social responsibility

KOOLSKOOL, as a entity to help children of school going age, has been getting closer to its target group very rapidly in the last six months. The company having started to focus on its online business only since February has made rapid strides.
While the company is picked up steam very quickly, it also has very recently taken a very conscious step towards contributing back to the society. In its first step this year, KOOLSKOOL shipped out over 150 kgs of books and material to Hope Foundation in Pune. Suhas Dutta, KOOLSKOOL's co-founder and Director said "We do not see why every organization at least would not desire to contribute back to the society at large. Very often, it is actually very easy to do so as long as one has a desire to do so".
KOOLSKOOL's contribution this year has been in terms of bunches of sample books and specimen copies that it has received from suppliers and vendors and also other books and notebooks from its own stock.
Besides the material which was sent out, KOOLSKOOL also contributed in terms of shipping as well as packaging.
"This is our first step towards contributing to the society, and towards the education of young ones, but gradually we will have a structured program to be able to contribute study and reading material, and perhaps also start considering green initiatives" said Dutta.
