"Coming on the heels of our "Out of My System" music video and our Uptown Art Fair and Stone Arch Bridge Festival performances, the Radiate show by RAW Natural Born Artists gives us an opportunity to continue to expand our engagement of new audiences with our unique movement style." said Stacy Boeddeker, Executive Director, "We are quickly becoming the new, contemporary dance company of the Twin Cities. We are so excited about the support of our new found friends and fans. We'd also like to thank RAW for helping emerging artists like us. Shows like this are how new artists expand their base of support and gain momentum."
Poetry's show will include new works with dancers Nate Poole, Monster's of Hip Hop, and Stacy Boeddeker who recently danced with The LXD at the Dizzy Feet Gala at the Dorothy Chandler pavilion in Los Angeles.
Poetry In Motion is a non-competitive movement creation facility that merges high quality contemporary and classical styles with bold street dance, offering performance opportunities to dance professionals and students in an exciting environment of creative risk taking. RAW Artists' shows, 54 per month in different cities, usually contain an independent film, a fashion show from an up-and-coming local designer, a musical performance, an art gallery featuring several independent visual artists and photographers, and performance art. RAW events come together to form an amazing one-night circus of creativity. Our RAW season runs from February-October and comes to an extravagant end with our indie arts awards show RAWards in Hollywood.
