DSI Announces New Vice President of Sales
Leo Salvaggio to lead domestic sales force, international resellers and longstanding partnership with Unisys
Online PR News – 28-August-2012 – CO – Englewood, CO, US, August 28, 2012 -- Dynamic Solutions International, LLC (DSI), a data storage technology innovator, today announced that Leo Salvaggio has been appointed vice president of sales. Salvaggio replaces Sean Phillips who is now leading DSI's domestic sales development efforts. As the vice president of sales, Salvaggio is responsible for overseeing DSI's domestic sales force, international resellers and the company's longstanding partnership with Unisys.
"Our new DSI300 virtual tape library has generated significant sales activity and we are making internal adjustments to accommodate for this phase of growth," said Jim Tarbell, president, DSI. "Leo has been a great contributor and his personality, work ethic and leadership skills will serve him and DSI well in this role."
Salvaggio joined DSI in 2006 as a sales manager from Unisys where he worked for nearly a decade as a portfolio sales executive. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
"This is an exciting time for the company as our DSI300 product line continues to be well received by the industry, and we are considering other means to make data storage more efficient and affordable for businesses across a variety of vertical markets," said Salvaggio. Phillips, the former vice president of sales, now leads domestic sales development and is responsible for devising growth strategies in the North American market as part of DSI's long-term plans.

"In this newly created role, Sean will navigate market conditions and geographies to identify the right markets and the right time to launch into those markets He is a phenomenal visionary with deep technical knowledge and a long-time pulse on the storage market. Phillips joined DSI in 2001 as an inside sales representative, advanced into a regional sales role and was later promoted to vice president of sales. Phillips earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Utah and has 20 years of sales expertise.
