Rizing Sun Records Slated To Recieve Grammy For Best New Indie Label
Rizing Sun Records Is reportedly the odds on favorite to receive the 2013 Grammy nomination for best new indie label of the year, the SoCal based indie label has been making a big noise all over the record industry.
Online PR News – 10-September-2012 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles, CA, September 10, 2012 -- The Underground Buzz, has it on good authority that Rizing Sun Records, the Los Angeles based record lable, whose motto is, "All the Music That's Fit To Hear", will receive a Grammy nomination in February at the 2012 annual Grammy awards in Los Angeles. The indie label is headed up by CEO, Earl J. Foster Jr., the well known writer, producer, and musician.
Earl J.Foster Jr. is the leader of the 1970's ABC Dunhill group Tribe, whose recordings made the music charts all over the world, is thrilled at the prospect of receiving such a prestigious award.
Mr. Foster, decided form the label utilizing the highly successful Motown model and drawing from the rich and fertile field of musicians, in and around the Southern California area. Searching and bringing in artists with stellar product and talent and incorporating them under the Rizing Sun corporate umbrella, Foster has forged a relationship with Joe Leavy, CEO of Harmonious Records, and with Lee King of the King Brothers blues band.
With the presentation of a Grammy, it won't be long before Rizing Sun records will be able to leverage a deal with a major label for promotion and distribution of Rizing Sun products.
On the drawing board is a new Tribe album, entitled Resurrection, and the long anticipated follow-up to Shampen & The Chill's first album No Bull, NouveauRetroPop, which is slated for release early 2013.
