Online PR News – 24-September-2012 –A New Generation of sunlight readable Multi-Touch Marine Displays - The Admiral™ Series by InsyncMarine
“See Crisp Images in Direct Sunlight”

In the past, low-light transmission touch screens have prevented touch monitors from being used on outboard decks due to poor sunlight readability. Not only is direct-sunlight viewing essential in these marine environments, but also larger displays with multi-touch capabilities.

Recent advances in touch-screen technology have changed all that.

InsyncMarine To Introduce A New Generation of Multi-Touch Marine Displays -- The Admiral™ Series --See Crisp Images in Direct Sunlight--

InsyncMarine, located at Laguna Hills, CA, is taking its military expertise in marine ruggedized direct-sunlight viewing monitors and computers to meet that challenge. It has developed The Admiral (TM) series and its own line of marine direct-sunlight viewing touch monitors and computers to serve OEM customers in the US and overseas.

The Admiral Series offers the following features that are critical to operation in a marine environment:
. Direct sunlight viewability
. Brightness of 2,000 nits
. Ultra-fine dimming to pitch black (military logarithmic dimming)
. Multi-touch with 7H durability (MTBF 64,000 hrs)
. A sleek and modern design
. Waterproof and resistant against vibration and corrosion
. Nanotechnology hydrophobic coating to Shed Water
. Wide operating temperature with +85C display surface temperature
