The Partnership Selected to Launch Culinary Initiatives for Goodwill
Atlanta Ad Agency to Brand and Market Middle Georgia-Based Goodwill Industries’
Online PR News – 27-September-2012 – Atlanta, Georgia – After a national advertising and branding agency search, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the Central Savannah River Area (CRSA) named The Partnership of Atlanta as its first creative agency of record. The agency was retained to launch Goodwill’s innovative culinary school and hospitality businesses, now operating in Macon, in the fast growing Augusta, Georgia market.
“We spoke with a number of agencies from across the country and The Partnership showed the greatest affinity for our mission, goals and approach in Augusta and Macon and offered the critical and creative thinking we felt would best ensure our success,” said Goodwill of Middle Georgia CEO James Stiff. “We are pleased to have them as our agency and looking forward to their many contributions in the launch of our Augusta properties.”
Goodwill Industries is among the most well-known community service organizations in the world. Founded in 1902, with 179 member organizations across 15 countries, Goodwill is most widely known for their thrift stores, community development and job training programs. Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia currently operates a culinary school, restaurant, conference center facility, coffee shops and an accredited post-secondary college program in Macon, Georgia and plans to begin a similar offering in Augusta, Georgia in early 2013.

The agency started work immediately focusing on Goodwill’s upscale restaurant, Edgar’s, a new conference center, The Good Books Café coffee shop, and the Helms College culinary program in Augusta.
