Howard Fensterman, Managing Partner of Abrams Fensterman, Responds to Scott Morrell’s Recent Attempts to Divert Attention
Online PR News – 28-September-2012 –A respected lawyer and well regarded businessman, Howard Fensterman, Managing Partner of Abrams Fensterman, a Long Island, New York law firm, is at once amused and confused by Scott Morrell’s recent attempts to use smoke and mirrors in an attempt to divert attention from Morrell’s own legal and reputation challenges.
The pattern is clear: Fensterman is having difficulty understanding what Morrell hopes to achieve by ignoring claims that he routinely put low price liquor into premium liquor bottles after contracting to provide “premium liquor” to customers who paid for it.
The pattern is clear: In the face of signed affidavits by his general manager and by various former employee bartenders, attesting to these actions by Mr. Morrell, Scott Morrell continues to push these accusations under the rug by trumpeting false statements about others, hoping his friends and customers won’t pay attention.
The pattern is clear: Scott Morrell is looking to bury his misdeeds in an avalanche of falsehoods against others. How else can he explain that he imposed a service charge of 18% on top of his catering contracts -- money his employees never received because Morrell never gave it to them. In fact, hundreds of his former employees filed a class action against Morrell that asserts that this is true.
The pattern is clear: Scott Morrell also asked that many of his customers give additional gratuities to certain employees on the night of their affair. The customers did not know that these monies, more often than not, paid in cash, were turned back to and pocketed by Morrell.
The pattern is clear: Customers at Temple Beth Torah were charged $800 for kosher supervision. The problem for Scott Morrell is that he was preparing lobster, prosciutto, cheese, sausage and shrimp on the same tables and in the same pans as kosher food. This renders all foods prepared in this facility, non kosher. With receipts from Restaurant Depot confirming that non kosher food was delivered to this kosher facility, no smoke screen will be able to shield Scott Morrell from these reprehensible business practices.
Scott Morrell’s pattern of behavior is as clear as his desire to point a finger at others. Howard Fensterman, for one, will not allow himself to be victimized by Mr. Morrells’ incessant pattern of lying, cheating and otherwise disingenuous and hurtful practices.
Abrams Fensterman is a full-service law firm with offices in Lake Success, New York City, Brooklyn and Rochester, New York. The firm also serves clients in New Jersey.
