Republican candidate for the California 25th Assembly District ArLyne Diamond announced this week that she has received the endorsement of the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (PAC).

The newly formed California state assembly district #25 includes the Alameda County city of Newark and parts of Fremont, and the Santa Clara County cities of Milpitas and Santa Clara, and parts of Sunnyvale, Alviso, Cupertino, San Jose, and Morgan Hill.
"With a new district, we have a unique opportunity in this election to bring some fresh ideas to Sacramento," says Diamond. "I appreciate this grass roots support from local businesses. I have worked my entire career finding consensus and a path forward in the face of challenges. As a member of the legislature, my job will be bringing people together during difficult times to find a common path forward."
The election is Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
ArLyne Diamond, Ph.D. is a candidate for the newly formed California Assembly District #25, covering parts of Santa Clara and Alameda counties. Diamond has been a Silicon Valley resident since the 1960s, taught in local college and universities, and operated a management consulting business for more than two decades.
