Online PR News – 02-October-2012 – McMinnville, OR – MCMINNVILLE, OR: Creative Company has earned a Silver in the 2012 Summit Marketing Effectiveness Award competition for their work with Job Growers, Inc. A new name and identity along with messaging provides much needed clarity to the Job Growers team and those they serve. The award-winning brand program defines the organization’s purpose and brings focus to all communications.
“Creative Company distilled the intricacy of our organization and helped us focus our message,” said Job Growers board member, Jody Christensen. “Our new name brilliantly reflects our work and our mission.”
The goal of marketing is to change, shape or build upon a target audience's knowledge, attitudes, or beliefs. Using this as a basis for blind judging, the competition is a true measure of marketing prowess. Applying strict rating criteria, only firms whose work represents the best in its class are rewarded.
”Competing with more than 732 entries from ten countries and earning a Silver confirms the effectiveness of our marketing approach," commented Jennifer Larsen Morrow, Creative Company president. “To achieve the best results, we always begin a program from the viewpoint of the target audiences.”
Creative Company developed a messaging hierarchy to guide the rebrand. Once the goals and brand promise were clear and the name approved, work on the brand identity followed. The name Job Growers reflects the organization’s core purpose and was chosen for its simplicity. The bold new look and messaging allows the public/private partnership to be recognized for its value to the community. The brand promise reinforces the focus on outcomes—“Cultivating better jobs for more people.”
Job Growers, formerly the Enterprise for Employment and Education, is a non-profit organization serving as the local workforce investment board in Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties. Their focus is to forecast needed jobs, then develop a workforce that will support growing industries and local businesses. With good jobs available, community vitality is strengthened. Services range from labor market analysis to managing grants for workforce training.
