Online PR News – 10-October-2012 – Delhi, India – http://www.carkhana.com/, India’s leading online store for automotive products believes in engaging with its loyal enthusiast’s community and one way to do this is by bringing the latest automotive buzz straight from the people who matter.
India loves its bikes and has its share of bikers, both regular and enthusiasts. With the growing number of Superbikes in India, there still are a very few places where you can get them fixed or get them modified.
All bikers however swear by one place – Kaulson Racing (KRP), Delhi.
Team Carkhana went to KRP to experience a day amongst bikes and interviewed the founders of the company Mr. Vijay Kaul & Mr.Virender Kaul.
Excerpts from the interview:
Carkhana (CKN) : Tell us about KRP and what it stands for?
KRP : Kaulson Racing Products (KRP) is a Motorcycle focussed company which specializes in R&D, Product Development, Fabrication and Trading of Motorcycle Associated Products. We are known for our KRP branded products, which have its pedigree proved all over the country & abroad.
Importantly we are involved in Strategic Assistance for Motorcycle Manufacturers who come to India and require market feedback, local knowledge and back-end support for their ventures.
KRP has been involved in helping the likes of Yamaha, Honda, HeroMoto and Triumph for the last 15 years and continues to act as a one-stop-shop for all motorcycling needs.
We have been instrumental in extending our knowledgebase and expertise of superbikes and act as launch vehicles for multiple brands at events like Auto Expo etc.
CKN : It is evident that the DNA of KRP is the “Passion for Bikes”. Tell us about this passion turned into profession.
KRP : It is important to note that KRP stands for “Kaulson Racing Products” which rightly reflects our roots, which is Motorsports. We were the official Gear & Wear suppliers to Yamaha Racing Team at a time when motorsports was nascent in India.
All our present day operations are derived from this rich motorsport heritage and our endeavours have ensured that this experience reaches the regular bikers in the country.
Apart from the R&D and Strategic Solutions which KRP is involved in, our mainstay also lies in the import and distribution of world class Biker Gear & Wear Products.
We have been the exclusive importers of prestigious brands like Progrip, Acerbis, Forma Boots,, Duro, and Blizzard Biker Gear for India & Nepal.
Most of the biker-gear in India is not upto standards and if imported is very expensive and inaccessible to the regular bikers. Our effort always has been to bring in world class products directly from manufacturers at the most affordable prices for the benefit of bikers as a whole.
CKN : What kind of products does KRP manufacture or retail?
KRP : KRP has its own range of Exhaust Chargers (for 2 & 4 Stroke Motorcycles), which are designed and developed 100% in house.
Apart from this, we custom design motorcycles for R&D Projects, Motorsports Events and individuals as per their requirements. We soon will be coming with our own range of Racing Kits.
Apart from this, our imported range of products cover all Motorcycle Parts, Gear & Wear, Tires, Boots and Accessories etc.
Post the interview Mr. Vijay and Mr. Virender took us around their Showroom which welcomed us with a big boy Triumph Rocket III 2012. A wide range of Biker Jackets, Pants, Boots, Tires, Protectors, and lot of Spare Parts & Accessories all over.
Finally came the time to visit the famed KRP Works.
There were bikes all over, from the likes of R1, BMW’s, a highly custom modded Harley Davidson Fatboy to vintage classics like Lambretta & Vespa Scooters, a 1911 Triumph and Vintage Enfields. The brothers are helping set up India’s first Transport Museum which should come up soon in Manesar, Haryana.
