Online PR News – 11-October-2012 – Sunnyvale, CA – Sunnyvale, CA - Puzux, LLC, a boutique developer of word games and puzzles apps for mobile devices, has announced the release of mobile game TriBond®, available from today to all Android devices throughout the world.
TriBond is a mobile trivia game based on the popular TriBond board game, which has sold over three million copies, and was inducted into Games Magazine’s Hall of Fame in 2001. The TriBond mobile game asks players to choose 3 out of 4 clues that have something in common. Players can play for fun in the FUN mode or play competitively in the CHALLENGE mode, where they can progress in levels, gain points, use hints and share their global score and clues with their friends using social media. The TriBond clues contain references to current events including television, movies, music and other pop culture trivia categories. Additional levels and Threezers packs are available for in-app purchase.
“TriBond brings a new approach to traditional trivia games.” says Guy Rotberg of Puzux. “Transforming a board game to mobile in today’s fast paced technological capabilities is always a challenge, and I believe our team has done an outstanding job delivering this board game to the mobile market.”
Turbo Crosswords is the second Android app released by the Puzux team of UC Berkeley Haas School of Business MBA graduates, headed by Managing Director Guy Rotberg, a veteran entrepreneur with past experience in both China and the US web arena. Earlier last month, Puzux released Turbo Crosswords for Android, another fun and challenging word game.
“This is an exciting time for us,” says TriBond inventor, Tim Walsh of TriBond Enterprises. “We have just released a new take on the TriBond board games from Winning Moves, and together with this new addition of TriBond for Android from Puzux, we hope to meet the great demand for our game. Plus our partnership with Puzux provides a plan to develop the TriBond Mobile Trivia Game and adding more social features to it as well as introducing a version of it for Apple iOS devices as well.”
