Josh Jambon Expands Operations Internationally
Jambon Boats expanded it's operations, opening up a new office in Ghana recently.
Online PR News – 27-October-2012 –Jambon Boats, a reputable offshore support vessel provider in the oil and gas industry, recently expanded internationally.
Working in Ghana on a trade mission with the U.S. Department of Commerce, CEO Josh Jambon saw a need for small-scale operations similar to what he does in the U.S. So, he opened another office in Ghana.
This is good news for locals. According to a Ghana news agency, 63 percent of the people feel the economy is bad or very bad. The income gap between the wealthy and the poor continue to grow, and many low-income Ghanaians are feeling the pinch. (Source: peacefmonline)
“There was a need, and I jumped on it, said Jambon, and one of the things we do is hire 100% local. We employ all locals, purchase locally and bought office furniture and equipment made from indigenous woods. If we need a service or repair, only a local gets the job. It is our way of giving back.”
Josh Jambon sees his company continuing to flourish, and hopes to expand to more international markets in the future and will hold to his concepts of hiring only local people.
“This is a wonderful thing for the oil industry, the local people and for Jambon Boats. This helps the local economy, oil industries are profitable and I can look into furthering my business.” Jambon said as he completed his interview.
