Online PR News – 30-October-2012 –Maleah Torney Photography (http://www.maleahtorney.etsy.com), in association with The Artisan Group, will participate in the official celebrity gift lounge in honor of The 46th Annual CMA Awards on October 29 – November 1, 2012 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Roseville, California based studio, owned by fine art photographer Maleah Torney, will have its business cards in celebrity gift bags and its photography gifted to members of the press backstage at the CMA Awards.
Celebrities stopping by The Artisan Group exhibit backstage at the Awards will find Maleah Torney Photography business cards nestled amongst their swag bag goodies. Press members visiting with The Artisan Group will receive a special press bag that contains one of Torney’s signature photographs titled “The Red Barn.”
“The Red Barn” depicts a historic western Gable Barn, its deep red paint showcased against winter bare trees and a steel gray sky. Torney discovered the barn while driving along a country road in western Oregon, where she resided for many years. “The Red Barn” measures 5” x 7” matted. It is beautifully packaged and ready for framing.
“The red barn photograph just feels ‘country’ to me,” remarked Torney. “I drove by this barn for years and every time the scene just stopped me and made me take in the calm quiet of country living and this beautiful earth we live in. I think that’s why I love it so much.”
Torney, who enjoys country music acts from Faith Hill and Tim McGraw to Lady Antebellum, is pleased to have her photography represented at The CMA Awards. “Participating in an event that is so celebrated in the music industry is an honor and even more so because all press and celebrity gifts had to be approved by the CMA Awards Board,” said Torney.
In addition to providing business cards for the celebrity gift bags, the photographer was asked to prepare "The Red Barn" photograph to include in 35 Press Bags. According to Torney, the process went smoothly, especially since she was in the midst of a move from Oregon to California at the time. “I will admit there was a moment of panic when I had to locate the post office in my new town,” laughed Torney.
Torney’s nature, travel and landscape photography is a popular choice for celebrity gift bags. She recently participated in GBK’s Luxury Gift Lounge for the 2012 Primetime Emmys, where her “Ocean Dreams” photo notecards were included in celebrity gift bags. “It was exciting to receive Thank You tweets from Hugh Bonneville and Stephanie Drapeau,” commented Torney. Nia Peeples, Kaley Couco, Jenny McCarthy and Paula Abdul have also been recipients of Torney’s photography.
