Antioch orthopedic doctor, H. Michael Jaffin, earns high customer satisfaction marks resulting in back-to-back Talk of the Town Awards.

Dr. Jaffin has been in practice since 1982, treating bone, joint and tendon problems. His current practice, located in Antioch, Calif., handles arthritis, extremity injuries and non-operative neck and back care. In addition, Dr. Jaffin performs reconstructions of knee ligaments and does arthroscopic and other extremity surgeries. Other practice interests include age management, optimum health and strength/flexibility training.

Being a patient himself, having an L1-S1 fusion of the spine in 2009, has also aided Dr. Jaffin in understanding what patients are truly going through.
Dr. Jaffin holds a host of degrees, including a B.S. from MIT with honors and an M.A. in molecular biology from the University of California, San Francisco. He then completed his residency in orthopedics through the Los Angeles County University of Southern California (LAC + USC) Healthcare Network. Before coming to his current practice in Antioch in 2003, he served patients in Oregon, Hawaii, Southern California and Virginia.
