Online PR News – 15-January-2013 – WOODBRIDGE, VA – Woodbridge Animal Hospital learned that they have earned the coveted Angie’s List Super Service Award for 2012. Dr. Jim McDonald, who heads a team of 14 veterinarians and a large support staff, says he and his colleagues are thrilled with the award. The Angie’s List website, which provides consumer reviews for a wide range of businesses, says that only 5 percent of the businesses listed there fulfill the requirements for winning the award each year. The award is based on strict criteria and positive customer reviews.
Dr. McDonald mentions that Woodbridge Animal Hospital has won other awards over this past year as well. “These kinds of awards are exciting for us because they tell us we are accomplishing our goal to be the best veterinarians in Woodbridge, and it only spurs us on to keep providing the best care possible to our patients.” The animal hospital, which is open 24/7 and handles all pet emergencies as well as routine pet care, also won its eighth Woodbridge Patch Reader’s Choice Award for Best veterinary care in Prince William County earlier in 2012, and has also won the Washingtonian’s “Best Vet” award several times.
Angie Hicks, the founder of the Angie’s List website, says, “Only the cream-of-the-crop of the companies listed with us win this award. Woodbridge Animal Hospital proved its mettle by providing top notch service. Our Super Service award is a badge of honor that companies earn by always going the extra mile for their customers.” Hicks explains that the Angie’s List Super Service Award winners have to meet stringent requirements including a preponderance of “excellent” ratings on customer reviews. The veterinarians’ profile on the consumer review site will display the award insignia for the duration of 2013.
Dr. McDonald says the award will inspire his staff to keep doing their best. He notes that Woodbridge Animal hospital is one of the only emergency vet centers in the area that is open all day, every day, including holidays and weekends. He also points to the new Woodbridge Animal Hospital website, which debuted earlier this year and features a number of animal health articles to help pet owners make informed health decisions for their pets.
The Woodbridge veterinarian says that their top priority is always the pets they care for. “Award or no awards, we just want to make sure our pets live long, happy, healthy lives, and that’s really our bottom line. Our veterinarians and technicians are always striving to learn more and serve more. If there is anything we can do to help our patients, we will do it.”
Woodbridge Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited veterinary clinic staffed by 15 veterinarians. They are open 24/7 every day to handle pet emergencies and also provide routine pet well and sick care such as checkups, vaccinations, boarding, pet surgery and prescription pet food diets.
