According to Richardson, a perfect example of this thinking is the new specialty “Arugula & Prosciutto Pizza.” It features two new ingredient profiles, arugula and prosciutto, paired with milky Mozzarella and Gorgonzola cheeses, pine nuts, olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon, and Asiago.

The release of the new menu items follows a big year for the Orlando pizza restaurant. In 2012, Flippers Pizzeria celebrated its 25th anniversary in Central Florida and recently opened its thirteenth pizzeria location. A new mobile application was also developed. It is now available for download in the Apple iTunes store. The new app makes online ordering from iPhones, iTouches, and iPads a seamless and simple experience for customers.
