The program “Overcoming Obstacles While Growing a Family Business,” features Andy Heck, President of Alpin Haus in Amsterdam, NY. He will share the obstacles he has faced and the success strategies he has used in running and growing a family-owned recreation business.
Heck, his father, brother and sister are the owners of Alpin Haus, a retailer of recreational vehicles, boats, skis, snowboards, swimming pools and spas. As President, Heck has overseen expansion of the business from one to four locations in the Capital District. In 2012, he served as Board Chair of The National Recreational Vehicle Dealers Association (RVDA). He holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Siena College.
