To meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry head-on, Net Trans has hired two travel industry veterans who bring years of experience and proven ability to think outside the box regarding travel and technology. These strategic advisors are:
Philip C Wolf founder of PhoCusWright Inc. - Formerly an adjunct professor at NYU's Graduate Center for Hospitality and Tourism and distinguished lecturer at the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, Philip serves as board director for companies on four continents including mobile application developer QuickMobile, travel search discovery Hopper, India's MakeMyTrip and Russian Oktogo. Philip is also a co‐founder of global media property Tnooz.
Martin Cowley – former Senior Vice President of EMEA of Sabre. He has more than 30 years of experience in the airline, travel and distribution industries, and had a key role in establishing the Oneworld Airline Alliance in 1998. He now resides in Sydney, Australia and is an invaluable part of Net Trans’ efforts in the region.
Simultaneously Net Trans is strengthening management with a new Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Technical Officer and Vice President of Marketing at their headquarters in Tonsberg, Norway.
Kai Holmberg is former CEO of Feel Air, SVP VIA Egencia and for online retailers Gotogate and Flybillet, as well as numerous travel and social start-ups. As leader of Net Trans’ commercial departments he plays a key part in the company’s strategy decisions and new product development.
CFO: Stian Haraldsen has worked in the capacity of CFO since 2001 for Norwegian companies. His experience is also heavily drawn upon during the development of the financial product solutions at Net Trans.
CTO: Petter Dybdahl joins the company after leading several large scale projects for the Scandinavian insurance company, IF, developing CRM and commercial insurance solutions. As CTO of Net Trans he will head the development of the company’s travel technology solutions.
Vice President Marketing: Bo Vibe, web strategist and SEO consultant specialized in the holiday rental sector. He will bring his experience from working with online strategies from web start-ups in Spain and be responsible for the company’s online communication and general marketing campaigns.
