SASH Realty's Dennis Brown Named SKCR 2013 Broker of the Year

Dennis Brown, Designated Broker of SASH Realty, a division of SASH Senior Home Sale Services, was recently named Seattle King County REALTORS® 2013 Broker of the Year. SKCR’s highest award, Mr. Brown was honored for extraordinary service spanning three decades:

Online PR News – 17-May-2013 –Dennis Brown, Designated Broker of SASH Realty, was recently awarded the prestigious Seattle King County REALTORS® Broker of the Year Award for 2013 at a sold-out industry event at Columbia Winery in Woodinville, WA.

Joining together for the event were members of Seattle King County REALTORS®, the Seattle Metro and South King county chapters of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and the Snohomish County-Camano Association of REALTORS®. The annual gala raised over $7,500 for the Seattle First Citizen Scholarship Foundation, which awards scholarships based in part on good citizenship and community involvement.

SASH Senior Home Sale Services, a Seattle-based elder care service that assists seniors and their families through their home sale, launched SASH Realty in 2011 as a full-service brokerage. Founded in 2005 by Rebecca Bomann, SASH is a blend of social work, senior care, and real estate services, and its mission is to provide seniors with a custom-designed and simplified sale of their home. SASH Realty was created in order to assist seniors who wish to sell their home in a typical market listing.

It was an honor to celebrate with Dennis that evening as he received the Broker of the Year award. Dennis has tirelessly worked for years in the real estate industry, in many volunteer positions, and he is a great example to his peers of selflessness and service.

Prior to joining SASH Realty, Mr. Brown was a broker for Windermere Real Estate/Wall St. Inc. for seventeen years, and Prudential Northwest Realty for seven years. In addition to SKCR 2013 Broker of the Year, Mr. Brown’s list of credentials include Washington REALTORS® 2013 Chair, Business Practices Committee; Legislative Key Contact to four Washington State Legislators; current Officer and Director, Washington State REALTORS®; 2012 SKCR Chair, Governing Documents Special Committee; and 2010 SKCR Board President. Mr. Brown also served at the national level on the NAR (National Association of REALTORS®) Risk Management and Equal Opportunity/Cultural Diversity committees.

"To be voted Broker of the Year by your peers is quite an exceptional honor," said Mr. Brown, "and being recognized by over 4,500 other Realtors means a lot to me, more than any other honor I could ever receive."

In addition to his 24 years as a real estate broker, Mr. Brown also worked for over a decade as a property manager, and a mortgage broker. This depth and breadth of experience in the real estate industry has resulted in the respect and accolades of his industry colleagues.
