Online PR News – 25-August-2013 –Daniel Friedmann is on a quest for answers — not about the future but the past. Many of the world's religions have beliefs about the origin of humans; and Science has developed a theory of how we came to be. Unfortunately, they do not seem to agree. Can both sides be right?
In 2012, in the USA, a new Gallup poll (Origins.aspx" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.gallup.com/poll/155003/Hold-Creationist-View-Human-Origins.aspx) was conducted in which 78 percent of Americans indicated they believe that God was involved in the origins of humans. Science posits that we evolved by purely materialistic means. Has Daniel Friedmann found the solution that could settle the long-held differences between these two views: Creationism and Evolution?
For so many, the creation/evolution controversy, or origins debate, acts as a stumbling block to belief. In his new book “The Broken Gift” the human origins debate is approached from a fresh perspective informed by both scientific and scriptural research. Daniel Friedmann demonstrates alignment between key events and their dates relating to the appearance and early history of our species as described in the Book of Genesis chapters 1 through 11 (Adam, Adam’s descendants, the Flood, and the fall of Babel) with those derived from scientific observation. The book is primarily based on the Book of Genesis and peer reviewed scientific publications.
“In his new book “The Broken Gift” the human origins debate is approached from a fresh perspective informed by both scientific and scriptural research.”
From September 12 through October 15, Daniel Friedmann will be discussing Genesis, the first book of the Bible, and the scientific timeline for human origins and where they agree and disagree. What does it mean to be human from a biblical and scientific perspective? What Adam and Eve were really like vs. us, the Homo sapiens? and more.
On the tour, Friedmann will be available to answer any questions about “The Broken Gift”. There are reviews, guest posts and giveaways. There will be an in-person book signing on November 9, 2013, at Banyen Books in Vancouver.
So, how did we get here? Read The Broken Gift and join the conversation. “The journey will leave you breathless if not inspired!”
