Rico Dakhil signs with AMW Talent Agency and lands a few roles this summer.

Online PR News – 26-September-2013 –This was very eventful summer for Rico Dakhil. The up and coming Los Angeles based actor began the season by signing with Walter Shaw of A.M.W. Talent Agency for representation in theatrical acting, modeling and commercial for a 1 year contract. This was a very exciting milestone for Rico and his family who have been very supportive in his pursuit.
The thesis film Rico acted in for UCLA undergrad senior Neil Paik, “The Doctor of Bagram”, won best student production at the UCLA Film Festival against very talented students. It was Rico’s first opportunity to see himself on the big-screen in front of a packed audience. Throughout the summer Rico went out on numerous auditions and he was able to book two exciting projects. Another thesis film, “Death of Jezebel” for Los Angeles Film School’s Myeesha Coleman. He plays the role of Jehoram in a modern twist of a classical story. This short film will be premiering in October. During the month of September he began filming an exciting new web-series called “Closet Space” and will appear in 4 episodes as high school bully Steve. The ambitious web series is about two gay high schoolers dealing with very different circumstances as they come out of the closet. During all of this madness Rico squeezed in a quick photo shoot by Wayne Calabrese. Today Rico Dakhil is taking acting classes to strengthen his skills with a focus on comedic acting as he continues to get out there in auditions. Rico Dakhil is looking forward to his continued partnership with A.M.W as episodic and pilot season begins.
