American Profit Recovery Employees Choose Their Charities of Choice
Online PR News – 27-September-2013 –American Profit Recovery, a collection agency in Massachusetts, Michigan and North Carolina has devoted this past summer to raising money for many deserving charities with their “Summer Charities of Choice” program. Each year the company is amazed by the great efforts employees put forward by being involved in these efforts.
The American Profit Recovery staff worked together during their summer thinking of creative ways to raise money in-house and in total raised $3,718, which is the most raised since starting this program. Each employee has the chance to nominate a charity that has somehow touched their life or the lives of someone close to them to receive part of the overall total that is collected throughout the summer.
While the collection agency supports many charitable initiatives during the year, this is a chance for all employees to ensure that their charity of choice gets money for their mission.
Charities of Choice, conceived by staff and ownership has been such a success that it has taken on a life of its own including its own identity and a new logo for all to unite around and associate with the program.
This year, eight organizations will receive funds from the Summer Charities of Choice program including:
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Great American Foundation, Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Nature Conservancy, Azure Lodge AF & AM, Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, Autism Speaks, and Wounded Warrior Project
All these deserving organizations were nominated by the staff of American Profit Recovery.
Money was raised in a number of ways including paying for the privilege to dress casual in the office. In the past, employees have raffled off company parking spaces, held bake sales in the office and other fun and engaging ways to raise money.
“Our Summer Charities of Choice program is a great way to get our team to work together and raise money for deserving charities that are significant to them,” states Jeff DiMatteo, a partner at American Profit Recovery. “This program is something that the team looks forward to, and it helps them see and be included in the full process of being charitable.”
The next big community endeavor for the collection agency is getting involved in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in Boston and Howell Michigan. This is the largest charitable event American Profit Recovery takes part in. Over the past several years, the company has raised and donated over $50,000 for the cause.
