Online PR News – 04-December-2013 –MCMINNVILLE, OR: Creative Company has been selected to provide Graphic Design/Branding Services for the Human Resources Department of Multnomah County. The work covers messaging and a brand identity to appeal to a number of target audiences, including the Millennial generation (born 1985-2010) and diverse, experienced job seekers, as a great place to work, with many job opportunities. Creative Company will build on the county’s brand promise, “This Work Matters.”
“We were looking for a company with the expertise to help us reinvent our talent brand,” commented Amy Lippay, Human Resources Special Projects Manager for Multnomah County. “We chose to work with Creative Company based on the strength and relevancy of their portfolio. Multnomah County has an incredible range of opportunities; every one of our positions offers meaningful work that makes a difference. Branding will lead to more awareness about who we are, the work we do and the rewards of being a part of our organization.”
Creative Company’s president, Jennifer Larsen Morrow, led a marketing workshop with stakeholders to review issues and challenges with the target audience, and gain insight on key ideas from different department leaders. The group prioritized the messaging framework and the list of deliverables. A visual identity package for the brand promise, recruiter brand toolkit and redesign of the employment website in collaboration with Multnomah County’s web team will bring the messaging to life.
“Our job is to tell the Multnomah County story in an authentic and meaningful way to appeal to a younger audience,” said Morrow. “Millennials will be 36% of the workforce by end of 2014, and 46% by 2020. It’s vital we position Multnomah County as appealing from their point of view, and use strategies they respond to. Brief messages, bright graphics and engaging photos will connect.”
