LED Illuminated Base and Medallions
Online PR News – 07-January-2014 –The Fun Spot, owned and operated by Keith Ferraro and Alyssa Park, had operated their laser tag attraction with the LASERTRON LT-10 system and single level arena for over 12 years. The Fun Spot is excited to now offer their guests a new and fun state of the art laser tag attraction!
Over the years Keith had attended several LASERTRON Entertainment Center Conferences which offered a wealth of educational material and industry knowledge. Keith also made additional visits to LASERTRON, which is based in Buffalo, NY, to research the new LASERTRON LT-12 laser tag system in person and to learn more about LASERTRON’s new LED Illuminated arenas.
When the opportunity to expand the facility presented itself, Keith made the decision to have LASERTRON design and install a cool, multi-level laser tag arena and at the same time update their older laser tag game system.
The LASERTRON LT-12 vests are LASERTRON’s newest model which offers superior mp3 sound effects and announcements, a full color OLED display on the phaser, 5 vibrators that allow you to detect which direction you are being tagged from, red and green lasers, 12 CHIP Modes which give the players different power-ups, and much more.
Keith decided on an LED Illuminated arena for a few reasons. One, LED lighting is more energy efficient; LED’s have a longer life span than black light bulbs. Black light fixtures and bulbs are expensive and need to be replaced on a regular basis. The LED lighting provides a cooler, edgier look compared to the older black light style arena and the LED’s can be programmed to flicker, pulse and strobe to create a really exciting atmosphere. The arena at The Fun Spot also offers new LED Illuminated wall medallions, brilliantly colored LED vesting racks, new scoreboards, new enhanced LED re-charge stations and LED lit bases. It is an amazing new look and it is only the 4th all LED arena constructed by LASERTRON.
Keith had this to say about his new laser tag attraction.
“We wanted to offer our clients a great laser tag experience. Our new custom, multi-level LASERTRON LED Illuminated arena does just that. The end result is even better than I expected. The new LED arena looks amazing! We have bases on both levels which creates a very interactive and exciting game play. Mix that with the fun and cool CHIP modes and you’ll be telling all your friends to come check it out.”
Inside The Fun Spot you can Rollerblade or skate to all your favorite music and watch videos on 3 huge screens. For kids under 58” tall that like to climb around, the Kid’s Spot indoor soft playground is perfect. This 1,500 square foot multi-level structure has 12 different interactive attractions, including swings, slides and even a magic carpet, to keep kids entertained for hours.
Camp Fun Spot is a NYS licensed day care provider. They are finishing construction on their new day care classrooms for ages 3-5 to compliment the extremely popular after school and summer camp programs for children. Camp Fun Spot is “the after school and summer camp program kids never want to leave”.
Outside attractions at The Fun Spot include go-karts and adventure golf. The Fun Spot is the perfect place for birthday parties, corporate parties and any other type of group outing.
