Family First HomeCare, renowned for senior home care in New Jersey, is inviting everyone to an evening with Suzanne Banfield, Ph.D. where she will speak at Troy Hills Center about how delicious foods can also promote heart health.
Online PR News – 08-February-2014 – Morris Plains, New Jersey – Family First HomeCare, a premiere senior care agency in New Jersey, is excited to invite everyone to Troy Hills Center for an evening event with Suzanne Banfield, Ph.D., author, food scientist and, above all, heart health advocate, where she will speak about heart-healthy eating and the approach of focusing on all the delicious foods you love instead of those you have to shun.
Suzanne Banfield understands the importance of cardiovascular health, particularly for seniors who are more at risk for heart diseases, as she herself went through a frightening medical ordeal when she underwent a triple coronary bypass and carotid artery surgery to correct a major blockage.
“We regularly try to find ways to facilitate health education and awareness, so we are thrilled to have Suzanne Banfield on board.”
Since then, she has vowed to make not only healthy lifestyle changes on herself but also influence the lives of others to do the same. She believes that healthy food can also taste great, as showcased in WomenHeart’s All Heart Family Cookbook, a book she co-authored.
“We’ve always made it a point to do our part in not only promoting health for seniors but also that of the entire community,” says Robert Petroro, president of Family First HomeCare. “We regularly try to find ways to facilitate health education and awareness, so we are thrilled to have Suzanne Banfield on board.”
The affair by Family First HomeCare and Troy Hills Center will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 5:30 PM at the Troy Hills Center on 200 Reynolds Avenue, Parsippany, New Jersey. Dinner will be served so everyone can get a taste of recipes featured on Suzanne’s cookbook. A free copy of Suzanne’s cookbook will be given away to the first 10 to arrive. Attendees must RSVP by February 13th to Nancy Proko at 973-887-8080.
