Online PR News – 04-March-2014 – Campbell, CA – Campbell, CA - Plastic surgeon Dr. Kamakshi Zeidler says the breast “auto implant” is a specialized technique to reposition a woman's own breast tissue to add volume. “The technique provides an option for breast lift patients who don’t wish to have breast implants,“ says Dr. Zeidler. The story airs on the 11:00 p.m. edition of ABC 7 News San Francisco Wednesday, March 5. Dr. Zeidler practices in the Los Gatos - San Jose - South Bay area.
"My patient, Lisa had breast cancer and underwent a lumpectomy on one breast," says Dr. Zeidler. "This left a small dent that was filled with fat that we took from her abdomen while performing an abdominoplasty. Lisa was also unhappy with the drooping of her breasts but she struggled with the idea of implants versus a breast lift, or both,” says Dr. Zeidler. "She opted for a breast lift with the auto implant technique which redistributed breast volume to the top of her breasts to provide not only a lifted appearance but a fuller appearance on top."
“Unlike traditional breast augmentation, a breast auto implant doesn’t involve the use of any implants. Instead, a breast lift is combined with a procedure that uses a woman’s own breast tissue to fill out the upper areas of the breast, providing fullness without implants,” says Dr. Zeidler.
“A breast lift by itself won’t add fullness to the breast, but when combined with an auto-implant the results will show a natural look and feel of the breast tissue with minimal scarring,” says Dr. Zeidler.
