Raleigh-based training and consulting firm 1000 Cranes has chosen to work with Zig Zibit for its upcoming 2014 Licensing Expo.
Online PR News – 29-May-2014 – Raleigh, NC – 1000 Cranes, LLC will showcase its new branded cartoon Cranes at the 2014 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas from June 17-19, 2014. Zig Zibit, also headquartered in Raleigh, has designed and built the new exhibit. 1000 Cranes aims to secure a licensing deal from its efforts at the Expo.
The cartoon Cranes, adding a playful touch to the legend that gave the company its name, have made their way into a line of Origami paper packs and plush hand-puppets. In Japanese mythology, the folding of 1,000 paper cranes is said to bring good fortune and blessings—and to grant one wish. Each paper pack will include 24 sheets of thin Origami paper and instructions for folding a crane.
The new cartoon characters are part of a larger strategic initiative for 1000 Cranes. The company is moving into the children’s market for the first time in its ten-year history. “We needed a way to give the brand a more playful image, but we also knew we had to stay true to our roots,” says Founder and President Naomi Takeuchi. “So far, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re really excited about the Expo!”
1000 Cranes will exhibit at booth U-185.
