KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates Terrapin Toffee Bark
Online PR News – 24-June-2014 – Kohler, WI – Kohler Co., leading manufacturer of kitchen & bath plumbing products, is pleased to add to its successful line of KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates – Terrapin Toffee Bark. The Terrapin Toffee Bark joins three existing Toffee Bark flavors – milk chocolate, dark chocolate and hazelnut. The new toffee bark includes the flavors from the immensely popular Original Buttery Terrapin, which launched the business in 2007, and remains one of the most popular chocolates the company produces.
“Our goal was to use the sweet and savory elements of our Original Buttery Terrapin as inspiration to create a new product,” said Anette Righi DeFendi, Chocolatier for KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates.”
With three layers to savor, the Terrapin Toffee Bark starts with a layer of homemade buttery toffee with the next layer including a soft and smoky caramel. Lastly, it’s topped with milk chocolate and finished with salted pecans. "Our goal was to use the sweet and savory elements of our Original Buttery Terrapin as inspiration to create a new product," said Anette Righi DeFendi, Chocolatier for KOHLER Original Recipe Chocolates. "Our toffee bark line is a huge hit so to be able to extend that line with a nod to the Original Buttery Terrapin is a nice opportunity."
The Terrapin Toffee Bark is available in 4 oz. boxes, both for wholesale accounts as well as for consumers. The Terrapin Toffee Bark will be available in July online at www.KohlerChocolates.com for $6.99 per box or at select retailers.
