Computer Cuisine Deluxe 6.1 - Home Recipe Organizer & Manager for Windows, Mac OS X & iPhone/iPad!

Inaka Software has unveiled Computer Cuisine Deluxe version 6.1 of their popular home recipe cooking manager and software organizer for Mac OS X and Windows, now with an iPhone & iPad app, Cuisine To Go.

Online PR News – 04-August-2010 – – Inaka Software, celebrating nearly twenty years of mac recipe software development of their popular database & organizer software Computer Cuisine Deluxe, is now proud to launch the new version 6.1. This version, available for both Mac OS X and Windows, incorporates many new features--namely integration with Apple's iPhone and iPad.

Using Inaka Software's Computer Cuisine Deluxe desktop cookbook software for Mac OS X or Windows, users can manage their recipe collection at home and then transfer their entire recipe collection or grocery list to their iPhone or iPad using the free Cuisine To Go reader app available from the App Store.

"This is a monumental upgrade for users wanting access to their personal recipe collections either at home or on the go via their iPhone or iPad," said Inaka Software founder Mike McGee. "Now users can view their recipe collections anywhere, from the iPad in the kitchen or on their iPhone in the Supermarket."

McGee explained, "Many other recipe apps for the iPhone or iPad serve up unknown recipes you've never tried which are rated by strangers. Our app only serves up your personal recipe collection." McGee added, "Our goal was to make a recipe manager where users had access to their own personal recipe collection at any time, anywhere. Users can manage their cooking recipes at home with our recipe organizer Computer Cuisine Deluxe, and then simply transfer their recipes or grocery lists to their iPhone or iPad via a home wireless network."

In addition to the new iPhone and iPad integration built into Computer Cuisine Deluxe 6.1, this new version also features: Printing of weekly shopping lists, weekly recipe planner options, recipe importing from MasterCook, spelling alerts as you type, customized dictionaries, nutritional guide display, batch recipe printing, multiple photo options per recipe, detailed notes area for each recipe, conversions menu with fraction conversions, tools to easily backup your recipes, customizable print and email settings, and over 1,000 sample recipes included.

The Inaka Software web site (http://www.inakasoftware.com) has also been updated with a support forum and Recipe Swap section for exchanging recipe collections for free with other Computer Cuisine Deluxe users. Users can download full recipe packs or individual recipes from the site and import entire recipe collections into the desktop recipe organizer software without any typing. The Inaka Software web site also contains How To videos, tips and a support section with frequently asked questions and other information.

Computer Cuisine Deluxe 6.1 is available as a free demo download for users to test out the product. The Cuisine To Go app is available free from the App Store. Cuisine To Go requires a registered version of Computer Cuisine Deluxe 6.1 or later, and a home wireless network. Computer Cuisine Deluxe is fully compatible with the latest versions of Mac OS X and Windows 7. This includes Snow Leopard and Windows 7. Computer Cuisine Deluxe 6.1 is also compatible with previous OS versions such as Mac OS X 10.5.7 (or later) and Windows XP & Vista.
