Heather Carey, a Nassau, Bahamas native whose father is Bahamian and mother is
Scottish, came to Island Living Real Estate in June, said Rachel Pinder, principle broker of the agency, which specializes in Bahamas investment property.
Pinder said she hired Carey because because another agent was needed to help manage the client load.
“A feature of our business model is to provide clients with individualized service, and that takes more time,” Pinder said. “We are thrilled that Heather joined our team because she possesses diverse and detailed knowledge of Nassau and most of the other Bahamian islands, which makes her a tremendous asset.”
That means that buyers in search of Bahamas homes for sale can feel confident that their interests are in experienced, knowledgeable hands, she said. As a sales agent, Carey also will be prepared to offer assistance to clients looking for Nassau, Bahamas rentals.
Upon completing high school in the Bahamas, Carey went on to study, live and work abroad in New York City, Connecticut, San Francisco, Miami, Spain and London.
Her diverse background in tourism, private banking, marketing and film production has equipped her with helpful tools that assist her in meeting the needs of international and local clients. Her personal interests include food, independent films, hiking, photography, travel, swimming and diving.
Carey has been a member of the Bahamas Real Estate Association as a sales agent since 2003.
