Colonial Heritage Residents Host First Annual Harvest Ball And Silent Auction To Benefit Colonial Heritage Community Foundation

Online PR News – 08-September-2010 –Williamsburg, VA---Residents of Lennar's active adult community, Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg are hosting their First Annual Harvest Ball and Silent Auction to raise funds and awareness for the Colonial Heritage Community Foundation.
The event will be held on September 11 at the Colonial Heritage clubhouse, 6500 Arthur Hills Drive in Williamsburg, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
"We are looking forward to our First Annual Harvest Ball and Silent Auction," said Joan Bender, president of the Colonial Heritage Community Foundation. " This event offers a wonderful opportunity for guests to understand the importance of the Foundation while having an incredible time dining and dancing the night away."
Guest attending the Harvest Ball can also bid on more than 110 items totaling more than $17,000 as part of the Silent Auction.
Established by Colonial Heritage resident, Joan Bender, the Colonial Heritage Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports family caregivers, promotes active aging and strengthens the community through the enrichment of quality of life for all residents of Colonial Heritage and the greater Williamsburg area._Upon receiving its 501(c) 3 nonprofit status, Colonial Heritage Community Foundation (CHCF) began expanding its efforts to offer local caregivers the life resources they can rely on to sustain themselves while they are busy meeting the needs of those under their care.
"The Harvest Ball is a significant first event for the Foundation," Bender said. “The support we are looking to receive will help the Foundation move forward and continue to provide those important services to caregivers in need.”
Tickets to attend the Colonial Heritage Community Foundation Harvest Ball are $65 per person or $520 per table of eight. The event is black tie optional.
