Berlin, “Infantellina Contemporary” the “Mediterranean and Cinema “anchors, a collective exhibition that sinks its roots in the Mediterrean culture, but weaves deep links with the Cinema, rendering homage in concomitance with the Berlinale, to the great Cinema. All extraordinary and skillful painters, in confront, artists who, through the most diverse techniques, present themselves from the most important balcony of Europe, to render homage to art, to LucianoVisconti, to,lists of film themes as “Marrakech” of Concetta De Pasquale or to that of Pasolini, with the Medea of Anna Sticco or to the Mediterranean sea of Alessandro Trani, a frequent background in the cinematography, the sea …
All the works are inspired to the Mediterranean which has a body, a sensuality, a voluptuousness, it has its Europe as in Castelliti, it has its full-bodied brightness in the multi-stratigraphic of the master Mario Salvo, it has the ethnic plurality as in the works of the maximum synthesis, even in the figuration of the Dutch Vermeeren ….The Mediterranean which is the mother who is expecting a child, as for Xante Battaglia, the oneiric dimension experienced by Maria Grazia Sangregorio and translates her ideas on the canvases which reflect the eyes of a woman who still succeeds in dreaming …
