Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention artist extraordinaire Cal Schenkel returns to Gold Million Records in Bryn Mawr, Pa. for this year's Record Store Day festivities. Meet the record album designer for The Grand Wazoo, Burnt Weeny Sandwich, Uncle Meat, Trout Mask Replica, Another Band From L.A., One Size Fits All and many more. Limited edition giclee prints, original artworks and rare FZ records & memorabilia will be for sale in all price ranges. Free admission and open to the public.

Also at Gold Million Records, to honor the 2012 Record Store Day ambassador Iggy Pop, an exhibition of rare and never seen photographs of the legendary Iggy Pop in-store appearance at Plastic Fantastic in Bryn Mawr, March 1, 1980. Features behind the scenes shots by world-class rock photographer Phil Ciccola.

Gold Million Records (formerly Plastic Fantastic since 1976) is still spinning as Philadelphia magazine’s Best of Philly® 2010 - Best Store for Music Lovers. Part gallery, part museum and part record store, the all-vinyl emporium features rare records, record players and "cool stuff made from records" by award winning resident designer and store owner Max I. Million. Record clocks, tissue holders, wine carriers, storage boxes, desk accessories, jewelry and handbags will all be specially priced for the 2012 RSD event.
